【3】 「日比谷公会堂と野外音楽堂の未来を語る会」

去る2007年 7月29日日比谷公会堂で行われたこのシンポジウム。 実はテーマを、日比谷公会堂と野外音楽堂、としているところに、クラシック音楽の枠を越えた、このプロジェクトらしい広がりが生まれる結果につながった・・・

	第一部のパネルディスカッションでは、様々な分野の人たちが集まり、講演と対話が行われた。 とりわけ、日本ロック界の大御所内田裕也と井上とのやりとりは、この会ならでは！どちらも自分の意見を曲げない者同士の会話は、時に聞いている者にスリリングさを与えたが本人たちはいたってマイペース。 それが実に気持ちがよい。二人はこの日が初顔合わせであったらしいが、今はあまり省みられていない日比谷公会堂と野外音楽堂というハコ＝空間に生命を吹きこみたい！という共通の思いが、この日の二人を結び付けたらしい。 ここにもまた、一つの一期一会があった。

		（実は、内田をこのシンポジウムに呼んだのはプロジェクトの実行委員オノ・ヨーコの日本での代理人を務める浜田氏。 彼と井上とは、全く偶然にも、同じマンションの住人であるというから、驚きである・・・・）

	第３部 ミニ コンサート ソル・ガベッタ （チェロ） 野原みどり （ピアノ）	また会場には、幼少時代の井上のピアノの師で、８０歳を過ぎて、今なお現役ピアニストとして活躍中の室井摩耶子氏が来場しており、1945年2月に日比谷公会堂で行った自らのデビュー音楽会の翌日、銀座界隈が焼け野原となり公会堂は死体安置所になったことなどを感慨深く語っていた。

[3] “The Symposium on the Future of Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya Public Hall and Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall”

A symposium was held before Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya Public Hall on 29, July, 2007. The topic is Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya Public Hall and Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall, which did not limit the frame to the classical music, and affected the outcome that is suitable for the project.

In the panel discussion of the first session, speeches and dialogues were held by people from various fields. In particular, Japan Rock’s mogul “Yuya Uchida” and Inoue’s dialogue could not be come true other than this symposium! They were standing pat that their conversation sometimes thrilled the audience, while the actual two were at their own paces. How pleasant it was! They met there for the first time having the common wish to bring life to the box=space called “Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya Public Hall and Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hal” where people’s attention are not attracted nowadays. That is how the two men united. It was once in a lifetime experience.

(As a matter of fact, the person who invited Uchida to this symposium is Mr. Hamada -- the Japanese representative of Yoko Ono who is an executive committee of the project. By coincident Mr. Hamada and Inoue live in the same apartment house…)

Furthermore, Inoue’s piano teacher in his childhood “Ms. Mayako Muroi” visited the symposium, whose age is over 80, and she is still active as a pianist. She mentioned the fact with deep emotion that on the next day of her debut music concert at Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya Public Hall in February, 1945, Ginza region was burned to the ground, and the hall was used as a morgue.
